signage mock-up

this is the idea for the signage we will use on the night of the event. the letters will be cut out of foam core, backlit and mounted on a 48"x18" wooden board.

i created these two sizes to accommodate bento and sushi trays.

bag graphics
this is the first of the graphics for the outside of the bags. it should look like sand was removed in the shape of the logo to reveal wood underneath.

drink menu
this is the first draft of the drink menu. i'm not in love with the layout. i might try to break the grid on this and the main menu.

this is the first draft at getting the layout for the menu down. the dimension of the printed piece will be 7"x12". i still want to move the headers to a more aesthetically pleasing position. we are also going to add small icons for dishes that are spicy and/or vegetarian.

These are some digital samples of paper I found locally that are made with Flower seeds inside. Not only does this create a interesting texture but it will allow for a unique experience for the user. I think it would be awesome to use such paper for our gift card packaging. Much like Aaron's envelope concept.

I wanted it to reflect an elegant environment as well as give a splash of an Ocean feel. I reflected the type to simulate water.

my concept is to create a wordmark that can be seen as 'luana', the name of the restaurant and alternately as 'luna', since it serves dinner only. i tried to acheive this by turning the central 'a' into a symbol/icon (coral, fins and a shell).
